The Make My Day Bio-Retinol Gel Cream has been inspired by Phoebe's personal need for a perfectly balanced moisturiser for skin that needs hydration and some treatment without the risk of pesky breakouts. So this cream is a bit of a revelation in our household and Phoebe is singing Aaron’s praises even louder than usual right now!
A gel cream delivers the perfect balance of lightness and lasting moisture. It has taken us quite a long time to get the gel cream just right because the ingredient technology hasn’t been available for natural products. Until now.
To reduce the chance of breakouts, Make My Day doesn’t use any solid waxes, butters, or heavy occlusive ingredients. Instead it uses some natural magic to deliver the lightness of a gel with the deep moisturisation of a cream.

Make My Day will suit almost everyone except those of us with very dry skin, unless you get a bit creative! Dry skin types can use Make My Day together with another moisturiser, layering your richer moisturiser over the top.
The Hydrators
Hyaluronic acid- a special low molecular weight version of hyaluronic acid that allows it to provide moisture deeper into your skin, visibly improving smoothness, fine lines and wrinkles.
Saccharide Isomerate - a skin-loving carbohydrate complex for long term skin hydration. It reduces the appearance of flakiness caused by dry skin and skin becomes visibly smoother.
Betaine - this amazing natural moisturiser from Sugar Beets protects your skin from the visible signs of environmental stress and dehydration.
The Protector
Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters - a light feeling oil free emollient protects your skin from transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It reduces the appearance of redness and extends skin hydration so your skin looks and feels hydrated for longer.
The Correctors
Native Australian Lilli Pilli - this Australian native delivers a potent range of phyto-actives that condition your skin and helps to reduce the appearance of UV damage and dark spots.
Vigna Aconitifolia (Moth Bean) Seed Extract - this wonderful seed of a bean provides the pros of Retinol and Vitamin A without the cons. This means rejuvenated skin without sun sensitivity and irritation. It is also safe to use during pregnancy.
Fermented Noni Juice- works to balance your skin's microbiome for healthier looking skin. It helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, oily skin, redness, skin imperfections and pores.
After cleansing and toning gently massage a small amount into your face, neck and décolletage using our 'Press and Roll' technique (check out the video below!)

I've finally found it, the perfect moisturiser for my skin during the humid Brisbane summer! I have sensitive combination skin and fragrance sensitivities and I tolerate this really well. I use it over the raindrops spray and it makes my skin feel hydrated but not greasy and I'm less likely to start sweating on my face before it dries (Brisbane summer, iykyk). I can even use this on the skin around my eyes, and on days I need a richer moisturiser I still use this as a day eye cream. I've already bought a full size bottle!

I had been learning about the advantages of retinol and retinal and retinaldehyde etc. It was comforting to see this option in the woohoo line up as I trust them far more than normal dermatologists. I find this works great and remember that a little goes a long way!
The biggest hurdle is, I have never used any retinol/rentinal, retinaldehyde products or some of the more “natural” options. I have noticed that my skin is not irritated and as things stand that is great for me and hopefully over time it’ll improve my skin and more broadly also. I also want to note: The price is exception value but also note the ingredients are fantastic. I know every person is different in what they can and cannot tolerate for me, the first step is knowing if something is even worth trying and then once having tried it, did it help. I’d definitely recommend giving this ago, especially for people who maybe have more towards sensitive skin and need to check. I also note that like I think almost all their products there is a decent sized sample that you can get of this product to see how you go and a much reduced cost to do so.
