Being Easter Sunday we thought today was the perfect chance to think about how so many of the botanical extracts we use today have been used since the time of Jesus.
Egyptians, Greeks and Romans were all known to use the power of plants for their health and beauty.
So here’s some beauty advice straight from the Bible 
(OK we have given it a Woohoo Skincare twist but these 3 ingredients are well worth knowing about!)
Sandalwood
Sandalwood is the bee’s knees for dry skin but helps all skin types with its great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. And we have made it staple in nearly all of our products. It has healing properties and is traditionally used to help scars, blemishes and sun damage.

Frankincense
Frankincense is one of the most well-known oils from the Bible due to it playing a starring role at Christmas. It was revered by the ancient Egyptians and used to honour gods and so it is perfect for you to use (being a Goddess and all ).
It can be used by both young and mature skin as it can balance both oily and dry skin. It improves your skin tone and conditions through its regenerative properties.

Cypress
Cypress is another essential oil that has stood the test of time. It has a calming aroma that can stimulate focus. It’s a skin decongester and detoxifier because it improves your circulation and lymphatic drainage.
